Kamal Khera is a Canadian nurse and politician who served as a Cabinet Minister under both Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Prime Minister Mark Carney. A member of the Liberal Party, Khera represented the riding of Brampton West in the House of Commons from 2015 to 2025. She served as Minister of Seniors from 2021 to 2023, Minister of Diversity, Inclusion, and Persons with Disabilities from 2023 to 2025, and Minister of Health in 2025 until she was unseated in the 2025 Canadian federal election.
Khera is among the youngest women ever elected to the House of Commons.
